Snowball fight:
A really simple game with 2 teams. Split the room with a line/rope and give each team a pile of paper (or pre-scrunched paper snowballs). On the whistle, each team screws up paper snowballs and throws them at the other team. Teams then pick up snowballs and throw them back. Stop the game after a few minutes and count up the number of snowballs in each team's half of the room. The team with the least snowballs in their half wins.

Alternatives:
- have a goal (bucket) each team is trying to get snowballs into
- paper planes...just make sure the ends are blunt (folded back)

Here's some of the suggestions I've had so far:

waterbugs and dragonflies, a book about death for younger children
will my rabbit go to heaven and other questions

Promises for Kids
365 Daily Devotions for Kids (for ages 7 - 11 yrs)
both perfect for parents and children to read together. These books are published by LifeWay christian stores, www.lifeway.com
For younger children we have a booked called "The Story of the Ten Commandments" by Patricia A. Pingry, Illustrated by Stacy Venturi-Pickett
